Leadership

Pastors & Staff

Doug Knorr

Pastor

Sally and I are thankful to God for His Faithfulness to us since 1975. We have been blessed with 5 children who all serve the Lord with their families. On any given weekend you may find our family enjoying the water or area festivals.

As a Bi-vocational pastor, I enjoy both the mission field at my marketing firm as well as leading ministry at LifePoint Bible Church. We came to LifePoint with a past ministry of singing, evangelism, and mens' ministry to relaunch LifePoint church with a fresh vision and clear mission.

The mission is two-fold, to reach the lost who desperately need Jesus Christ and to disciple each one so that we may continue to grow spiritually stronger and deeper. 2 Peter 3:18 says, “Grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

LifePoint’s DNA is founded in Matthew 22:37-39, that we will love the Lord with our entire being, and then through the power of God, the Holy Spirit, sacrificially love each person so they may be won to Christ.

God has given us a very special church that encourages and lifts one another up daily. We would like to invite you to consider joining us at LifePoint.

Josh Knorr

Pastor

Growing up in Traverse City, Josh graduated from Cedarville University in 2003 and worked in Youth Ministry with his wife Syndi.  In 2007, Josh and Syndi attended Liberty Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia.  After completing seminary, Josh had the privilege of working on a church plant team before moving back to Traverse City to work with his dad on a church relaunch.  Josh and Syndi have 3 children, Caleb, Charis, and Christian...and never a dull moment.

Adam Dennis

Pastor

Adam Dennis serves as our worship pastor here at LifePoint. He and his wife, Michelle, have 3 kids - Charlie, Claire, and Henry. Adam is a Traverse City native and has been in ministry for nearly 20 years. He is passionate about using music in the church to point people to Christ. In their free time, the Dennis family loves to spend time on the water, at the campsite, or in the woods.

Dallas Dix

Pastor

Dallas and his wife, Amy, both grew up in the church and came to receive Jesus as their Savior in their childhood. They have a heart to disciple others in a deeper commitment to the Lord and His Word. They both grew up in Wisconsin and have lived in Northern Michigan most of their adult life. They have four children. As well as being a mother, Amy is a middle school math teacher and coach. Dallas was called into ministry and has served in full-time church ministry for over 20 years with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in pastoral studies. He currently is a gym teacher and coach within the public schools. They enjoy watching their kids participate in sports and they love spending time in God’s creation.
